Once the egg retrieval date was determined, two days prior to the retrieval date, I needed to complete the final steps of the medication and self-injection process.

The timing of each step was crucial, especially since I had a work schedule, so I set my alarm to ensure I didn't miss any doses. The medication regimen included nasal drops, injections, and oral medication.

I administered two nasal drops and one injection at the designated times. Then, I took the oral medication before bedtime and continued it the next day. The injections used at this stage were different from the fertility drugs I had used earlier, so I watched the instructional video again and followed the procedure.

As you can see from the pictures, these injections were of a more serious nature. Even though I had become accustomed to self-injections, I had no prior experience with this type, so I was a bit unsure. Nevertheless, I decided to proceed while closely following the reference video.

Unlike the previous injections, this type was self-administered, and the needles were longer. I had concerns about whether I could manage it, but as long as I followed the instructions, it went smoothly.
