The Clomid injections

In total, I had 9 injections of Clomid at home, plus an additional injection 2 days before the day of egg retrieval. (Individual experiences may vary)

1. Self-injection for 5 consecutive days starting on the 5th day of menstruation
2. On the 10th day of menstruation, came to the clinic and had blood sampling + echo examination
3. Self-injection again for 2 days from that day
4. On the 12th day of menstruation, came to the clinic and had blood sampling + echo examination
5. Self-injection again for 2 days from that day
6. On the 14th day of menstruation, came to the clinic and had blood sampling + echo examination to determine the egg collection date.

Initially, I was a bit confused about self-administering the injections, but the instructions included a video, and the steps were so straightforward that I quickly became familiar with them. The needles are thin and short, so there is almost no pain.

By the 4th or 5th day , I had grown accustomed to injecting myself within a few minutes.

Physical effects after the clomid injections

I hardly felt anything until about the third day after the injections at home, but around the fourth day, after the fifth one, I started to feel tension in my abdomen. It was not painful, just a somewhat uncomfortable feeling similar to the sensation before menstruation.'
